Classic Crew

These socks are the absolute best mid-weight socks I've found. Truly soft, they are perfect with my Doc Marten shoes and boots during the fall and spring months. What's more, they don't wear out! I've had my current pairs for ten years, and I just ordered four more pair. Recommended to all!!

Any changes mentioned in other reviews have not affected his appreciation for their comfort and fit for him. I buy him new ones every fall to keep them rotating and to help him let go after the heels get holes.

I love this brand. BUT I was surprised to find the sizing was odd. They fit the foot and calf well except the very tight heel/ankle portion was very tight and hard to get the sock over the heel. No, my ankles were not swollen. It seemed like those portion of the sock were a completely different size.

The fit is snug but not too tight, providing just the right amount of stretch to conform to your feet without slipping down or feeling restrictive. The softness is consistent throughout, with just the right amount of padding on the soles for a cozy, cushioned feel. Still great.
